Counselling can help you to gain self-awareness and understanding about how you feel, think and behave. With self-awareness comes the ability to make the changes in your life that enable you to move forward through difficult situations in a more positive way.
 
I believe that the relationship between the counsellor and client is at the heart of the counselling process. I work with my clients in an empathic, non-judgemental way to allow them to explore their difficulties, providing a confidential space for them to develop and grow, work through issues and feel good about themselves.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
So what is counselling?
 
Counselling is a talking therapy where individuals can explore their difficulties. Having the space, time and support to reflect upon your own difficult situations, thoughts and feelings, can help you to gain an understanding and an awareness of how you are feeling right now, to enable you to make positive changes towards the way you deal with a situation. It can help give you the opportunity to see your situation from a new perspective and help to find your own solutions to problems.
 
Counselling offers you an opportunity to speak confidentially to an experienced and qualified counsellor, who is someone who will listen, understand and never judge accepting you for who you are. This allows you the chance to off load your thoughts and feelings in order to understand them better and make sense of difficult situations, in a completely safe and confidential environment.
